The School of Information Science and Technology provides students with a basic knowledge in these two fields - taking advantage of Aichi Prefecture being a worldwide industrial and manufacturing region. The program is designed to produce future information system engineers, who are capable of responding to the rapid changes in information technology, and of supporting companies that rely on advanced information technology.

Therefore, the School of Information Science and Technology seeks to develop a sufficient level of knowledge and skill for students to be able to advance to the graduate school - so becoming advanced information system engineers, capable of identifying and solving problems on their own.
