School of Foreign Studies

The world is getting globalized while promoting diversity. View this global society in the 21st century, through living language.

The School of Foreign Studies fosters individuals who will widely contribute to both local and global communities, where globalization and multicultural coexistence are socially desired.

The school is divided into four departments: British and American Studies, European Studies, Chinese Studies, and International and Cultural Studies. Students in each department are required to gain a high practical level of proficiency in a foreign-language, through the study of regional communities and their cultures. The programs are designed so that the students can develop a higher knowledge and a deeper understanding of different cultures, developing a sound perception of their own culture as well.

The school aims to furnish true cosmopolitans with rich communication skills to help achieve a “global multicultural coexistence.”
